On July 24, 2025, the Sasakawa Africa Association (SAA), in collaboration with the International Food Policy Research Institute (IFPRI) and the African Forum for Agricultural Advisory Services (AFAAS), hosted an official side event of the Ninth Tokyo International Conference on African Development (TICAD9).
The webinar, titled “Scaling Agricultural Extension in Africa amid Emerging Technologies and Global Aid Shifts,” convened experts and practitioners to discuss practical and innovative approaches to agricultural extension in Africa, emphasizing digital innovation, inclusive leadership, and locally grounded solutions.
