A research paper co-authored by Getachew Minas and colleagues from SAA Ethiopia has been published in the African Journal of Food, Agriculture, Nutrition and Development (AJFAND).

Titled "Postharvest Losses in Ethiopia's Avocado Value Chain: Magnitude, Drivers and Implications for Food Security, Nutrition and Environmental Sustainability," the paper examines the extent, drivers, and impacts of postharvest losses in Ethiopia's avocado value chain and highlights opportunities to improve food security, nutrition, and environmental sustainability through better postharvest management.
