[SAA's 35th Anniversary] Message from Mr. Yohei Sasakawa (Chairman of The Nippon Foundation)
The Sasakawa Africa Association (SAA), established in 1986, is celebrating its 35th anniversary this year.
Since its establishment, SAA has been supporting smallholder farmers in Africa to promote agricultural development and food security in the region. This has been materiarized thanks to the continuous generous support of The Nippon Foundation.
To celebrate the 35th anniversary, special ceremonies are scheduled to be held in our Forcus Countries (Ethiopia, Mali, Nigeria, and Uganda) in November and December.
Mr. Yohei Sasakawa, Chairman of The Nippon Foundation, kindly sent us a video message for the occasion of the ceremonies.
SAA will continue to strive for agricultural development in Africa with the spirit of "Never Give Up" as stated in Mr. Sasakawa's message.
