On November 29, Dr. Kitanaka, President of SAA, paid a courtesy visit to Mr. Norikazu Suzuki, Vice Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries, Japan.

He introduced the challenges facing African agriculture and the Sasakawa Africa Foundation's (SAA) on-the-ground activities to date. Mr. Suzuki, who visited Ethiopia in January this year, said that he realized the importance of supporting Africa, especially human resource development in agriculture and education, and offered words of encouragement to the SAA.
